High image quality and definition
Intoducing a new drop technology "Mimaki Weaving Dot Technology", which offers more accurate ink droplet placement to reproduce vivid colours evenly, creating exceptional photographic reproduction.
A new input profile "Deep Colour Natural" also enhances the reproduction of colours, including skin tones, deep red and neutral grays.
High productivity
Using 4 colours in standard mode, you can achieve print speeds of 21.0m2/h and 13.2m2/h when using 8 colours. But in high-speed mode with 4 colours, you can realise speeds of 30m2/h.
New XY cutting
Reduce your finishing process with in-line X-axis and Y-axis sheet-fed cutting, increasing productivity, reducing space required in the printroom and expanding the output opportunities from one single device.
Enhanced efficiency
The new media changer allows for three rolls to be attached, saving on time for loading and unloading media, saving space and creating the ultimate efficient work environment.
V-shape cut function
By cutting the media into a V with the new functionality, a single point can be taped to the media when winding it onto the core, This not only reduces human error and avoids media conveyance misalignment but also saves on material and costs.
New maintenance mechanism
The new maintenance mechanism applies a cloth wiper to increase the removal rate of unwanted ink droplets from the nozzle surface. This soaks the unwanted droplets, so reduces ink splattering on the head station from conventional rubber wipers, and simplifies the daily care of the machine.
New conveyance mechanism
The drive motor of the take-up unit is attached to both left and right sides, for equal distribution to improve the take-up accuracy. The power is also improved and the system evolved to avoid any issues.
Wireless printer operation
The new Mimaki Remote Access enables you to check the printer status remotely from a smartphone or PC to be able to operate the unit and panel from a distance, increasing efficiency and removing the need to physically be near the printer.
