Roland DG has announced today an exciting new addition to the LEF Family of flatbed printers. Introducing the VersaUV LEF-200 flatbed printer, Roland DG’s latest benchtop UV-LED flatbed, enabling printing onto an enormous range of items, objects and accessories.

Roland’s LEF 200 is ideally suited to any studio, offering an effective solution for the personalisation of a wide variety of objects including smartphone cases, gifts, gadgets, golf balls, promotional items, industrial components, and electronic devices. Presenting Primer to the ink configuration means users can precisely and efficiently add graphics to a range of challenging materials, where adhesion has historically been an issue.

For customers that have previously purchased a LEF-12 or LEF-20 these models can be upgraded to the LEF-12i/200 specs by upgrading the ?rmware and RIP. The release of the ?rmware and RIP is expected shortly and we will keep you updated.

Please note that adding primer to existing models will require a service call and a fee will be applicable. Only the LEF-20/300 can be converted to support primer.
