printMAX, dual Mimaki and Roland reseller, has once again continued to grow, having taken on a new showroom and demo facility in nearby Aldershot, Hampshire, along with a continued expanding presence at Sign UK. Most recently, the demonstration of expansion can be seen in their staff numbers, having taken on three new members of staff in order to grow with the market and offer customers more for their loyalty.

 

printMAX welcomes industry experienced Stewart Cobby (Sales manager), returning South African Shane Barrett (Technical consultant) and fresh blood Jamie Stoker (Sales support consultant).

Stewart Cobby joins printMAX having worked in the industry for 20 years. Consistently working with popular large format print products including HP and Roland. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise with him to the new customer facing role.

“I have always enjoyed any opportunity to work with the printMAX team whilst in my other roles in the industry. They’re a great team and offer fantastic customer support. Talking to any printMAX customers will prove the importance of their values. I look forward to encouraging and assisting in further growth for the company over the coming years.”

With a history of working within the print industry spanning 18 years, starting as an apprentice, printMAX’s next recruit is actually a returning member. Shane Barrett, technical consultant, last worked for printMAX 10 years ago when the business was based out of London, only leaving to return to his homeland of South Africa. With a wealth of knowledge covering both the technical and practical aspects of both Roland and Mimaki printers, Shane was the perfect addition to printMAX’s growing team.

“The opportunity to join printMAX came up, along with moving my family back to the UK, so I took it. It is great to be part of the team again, I look forward to using my knowledge and experience and adding to the professionalism and successes of printMAX once again.”

The third new team member, Jamie Stoker, joins printMAX straight out of College, an example of confidence and an enthusiasm to learn the industry from scratch.

Jamie enters the industry as a complete newcomer but has already secured a number of Roland and Mimaki sales and installs along with gaining an understanding of the printing processes involved with large format print. He joins printMAX as support to the hardware sales team, learning on the job whilst building the skills and expertise required to grow his career further.

In my time at printMAX my confidence in sales and support has increased 100%. Its shown me that the harder you work, the more you get out of it.
