Using variable droplet technology on the latest print head, the RE-640 offers impeccable, premium quality. With seven variations of droplet sizes, the RE-640 can pick out the finest details in your artworkk, allowing for flawless reproduction. The Roland Eco Sol Max inks offer vibrancy in printing, a combining result of high photographic quality, smooth gradations and strong colours. 

Achieve high production rates without compromising on extraordinary quality

Using the VersaArt RE-640 you eliminate the possibility of any uneven colour distribution due to the evolution of the eight-channel mirrored ink, this can often occur during bi-directional printing. Configuring the ink as CMYKKYMC allows for consistency in colour and print quality, even whilst printing at the highest speeds of 13.1 m²/h for vinyl and 23.1 m²/h for banners. The Roland Intelligent Pass Control enhances print quality futher by carefully controlling each dot placement between passes to eliminate any banding. 

Print on a wide variety of substrates

The VersaArt can print on most materials from the sign and display industry including coated and uncoated vinyls, banners, paper and canvas. The built in 2-stage heater allows for faster drying time, increasing productivity and ease of use.

User friendly

The Roland VersaArt RE-640 follows a pattern of all Roland large format printers, it has been designed to be incredibly easy to use. It has also been set-up to allow for minimised maintenance and running costs. The automated cleaning function keeps the printer and print head performing consistently at high levels without wasting ink. 

A dual-wiping system, featuring a standard wiper and additional side wiper, effectively removes dust and debris from the print head to reduce maintenance requirements. An included Jam Guard protects the print head from media jams or collisions.

Automated take-up system enables unattended production (optional)

Offered as an optional upgrade, the RE-640’s heavy-duty take-up system supports media rolls weighing up to 30kg(66lbs). This finely-tuned system winds your media flawlessly, preserving print quality through even the longest runs.
