One of the standout features of the Roland MG2 UV printer/cutter is its ability to print up to five ink layers in a single pass. By combining CMYK, White and Gloss without repeatedly reverse-feeding the media, the MG2 makes sophisticated multi-layer UV printing faster, more accurate and easier to produce. Create double-sided window graphics, white underprints, textured finishes, reverse-print applications and premium spot-gloss effects within one streamlined workflow, helping businesses differentiate their output and offer customers more creative, higher-value print products.
Designed for productive day-to-day large-format UV printing, the TrueVIS MG2 Series combines newly developed industrial piezo printheads with automated media loading, one-touch calibration, intelligent take-up and integrated print-and-cut technology to reduce operator intervention and keep production moving. Print speeds are up to twice those of previous models, while new high-capacity 1,000 ml ink pouches can reduce ink running costs by up to 40% compared with 500 ml inks.
